At Serendipity Ranch, our sessions are immersive, hands-on therapeutic experiences designed to foster growth and self-awareness through creativity and connection.

We provide two types of sessions; Equine-Assisted Therapy and Room-Based Creative Counselling, and each program is thoughtfully designed to support children, youth, youth-at-risk, families, individuals, teams, groups, and schools.

Our workshops are held either in Calico Creek or can be arranged at your place with your horses.

Equine-Assisted Therapy

Equine Assisted Therapy is experiential therapy and the process of learning occurs through engaging in activities with horses and making meaning from the experience. The activities promote reflection, analysis and therefore, a client is engaged intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

Room-based Creative Counselling

Room-based Creative Counselling is experiential therapy and the process of learning occurs through engaging in activities using a sketching or drawing pad a personal journal by using scrapbooking items to represent goals and the healing and change journey. The activities promote reflection, analysis and therefore, a client is engaged intellectually, emotionally, socially and creatively.
